Can I use PEPCID® products with other medications?
Interactions between PEPCID® AC and other medications are rare. However, antacids, like those found in PEPCID® COMPLETE, can reduce the absorption (and effectiveness) of a variety of drugs.
It's also important to know that some medications, such as non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), can actually cause heartburn.
For these reasons, we recommend that you talk to your doctor or pharmacist before combining PEPCID® products and other medications.
